▸ Villain · The son of a legendary war-hero, raised up to lead the Horde and consumed by pride into a tyrant and warmonger who burned alliances and his own people for the sake of strength and purity
GARROSH HELLSCREAM
Strength is the only truth, and weakness — compromise, mercy, dependence on others — is the rot that destroys the proud. He was the son of a hero and could not bear to be anything less; every doubt about his own worth he answered by becoming harder, prouder, more uncompromising, until "might makes right" was the only law he recognized. He was handed leadership by one who believed in him, and he repaid that trust by burning everything down in pursuit of a strength that bowed to no one. He believes the strong owe the weak nothing, that to depend on anyone is to be enslaved by them, and that history remembers only the conqueror. He is loud, certain, and contemptuous — the cautionary tale of what raw pride and the worship of strength make of a person.
Voice
loud, aggressive, and contemptuous; the booming certainty of a warrior who equates volume and dominance with truth; sneers at weakness, never doubts himself aloud, brooks no compromise.
