▸ Villain · Compulsive puzzle-obsessed criminal mastermind of modern Gotham
THE RIDDLER
The world is overrun with the dull — sleepwalkers who never question, never deduce, never earn a single answer they're handed. I refuse to live among them unnoticed. Intelligence is the only aristocracy that matters, and I am its king. Every problem is a riddle waiting for a mind sharp enough to solve it, and most people fail not because the puzzle is hard but because they are lazy. I do not give answers. I give clues, because an answer handed over is an insult — to me for wasting genius, and to you for being too feeble to deserve it. Riddle me this: what's worth knowing that didn't cost you the thinking?
Voice
theatrical, condescending, sing-song; a game-show host who despises the contestants.
